To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills/experience
- Minimum of (3) years or related work experience or, an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and strong attention to details are essential
- Experience with AutoCad, Solidworks, NX and Mechanical design
- Good understanding of fixtures (Project Related)
- Experience using /NAAMS
- Good understanding of design simulation
- Experience in Automation industry
- Strong communication skills with desire to take a new challenge and uncover practical solutions to technical problems.
- Commitment to excellence and continuous improvement
- Developing 3D models for custom machinery design
- Knowledge of safety systems related to robotics cells and machinery safety design
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently or within a team environment prioritizing to meet specified milestone dates
Job Description:
- Integrate automation system using proven hardware
- Use Solidworks for design and standards updates
- Use process simulates for simulation of cells
- Use 3D scanning software to reverse engineer design and validate builds
- On-site investigations to mechanical design requirements for both new equipment or modifications to existing equipment
- Develop Solidworks revisions, toolbox, and CAD library for both purchased parts and manufactured parts
