Job Description:
- Work directly with Project Managers (PMs) to develop and manage a variety of projects, schedules, and resources.
- Monitor project progress and update project teams accordingly.
- Share and coordinate information between departments to ensure project goals are met and entire scope of the project is understood.
- Assist in preparing project schedules with customers to ensure project deliverables are clear and concise.
- Assist with risk assessment of projects and ensure that foreseeable obstacles are flagged to intermediate PMs.
- Help to pinpoint possible issues with design, budget, schedules, and customer requests.
- Assist in maintaining “Project Book” templates for clear and concise communication between the multi- disciplinary team.
- Interpret advanced detailed engineering drawings, construction shop drawings and technical specifications.
- Work closely with the purchasing assistant for project procurement, communicate with vendors, and assist with the shipping/receiving of these items.
- Attend all design review meetings to confirm project scope is being met and that milestones are on track.
- Review and approve specific project and department personal expense reports.
- Participate in Ethos’ Continuous Improvement initiative.
- Communicate project invoicing to the accounting department and ensure payments are received.
- Promote open communication techniques with partners, customer, vendors, and distributors.
- Recommend and consistently administer policies, process flow and procedures to enhance operations
- Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes.
- Simultaneously manage several projects with effectiveness.
- Host daily touch-point meetings with the Project Team

Experience and Education:
- Has successfully completed a university degree in engineering or equivalent relevant education.
- Proficiency with MS-based software
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Solidworks would be an asset.
- Knowledge of contracting, negotiation, accounting principles and sounds business practices.
- A minimum of one year with relative engineering/ project management experience
- Experience in the automation industry is considered a strong asset
- Must have a valid passport and the ability to travel; Canada, Mexico and United States
Pay Range: $28.85-$33.37
